Baldwin City and the Maple Leaf Festival is a lovely day-trip out of Kansas City and cities around northeast Kansas. 

FROM KANSAS CITY:

Take I-35 South to the Gardner, KS exit for 56 HWY. Travel on 56 HWY for 17 miles to reach Baldwin City. Parking is available at the High School on the North side of HWY 56 off of 6th Street.

FROM SOUTH KANSAS CITY:

Take I-35 North to the 59 HWY exit at Ottawa. Travel north on 59 HWY to the 56 HWY intersection. Head East (a right) to Baldwin. Parking is available at the High School on the North side of HWY 56 off of 6th Street.

FROM I-70:

Take the second Lawrence exit (from either direction) and head South on 59 HWY approximately 15 miles to the 56 HWY junction. Turn left (East) and travel 4 miles to Baldwin City. Parking is available at the High School on the North side of HWY 56 off of 6th Street.

Parking is available at the Baldwin Intermediate and Primary Centers with shuttle service into the festival. Parking fees fund the local non-profit organizations in Baldwin. 

The Intermediate Center is just west of town on Highway 56. The Primary Center is just west of town right off of Highway 56, South on Lawrence Road. Follow the signs and enjoy your visit!
